What is Leszynski inTegrate?

Leszynski inTegrate Tablet PC Extensions is a toolkit developed by Leszynski Group that helps you learn about and build Tablet PC-capable applications.

Leszynski inTegrate installs the following features into Visual Studio .NET 2003:

• A New Project template for Tablet PC Application (see Figure 1)

• A Visual Studio add-in to add Tablet PC references to an existing project

• A Visual Studio add-in to bind the Tablet PC PenInputPanel to an existing form

• A new toolbox tab (Tablet PC) with the Tablet-specific controls on it

• The Leszynski InkToolBar component

• The Leszynski inSpire Windows Form Designer (see Figure 2)

The current version available here for download is listed below; if the version number in the Support Info dialog for Leszynski inTegrate in Add or Remove Programs on your computer is lower than this, uninstall your current Leszynski inTegrate, then download and install the release posted here:

System Requirements

Leszynski inTegrate requires:

• Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 or Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005.

• Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 (version 7.1) with Visual Basic, Visual C#, Managed C++, Visual J#, or any combination of these languages installed.

• Microsoft Tablet PC Platform SDK Version 1.7 (get it here).

• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher is recommended.

• A pointing device for input: an external digitizer, a Tablet PC with a human interface device (HID) digitizer, or a mouse (a mouse is not recommended because it is difficult to use for inking).

Downloading Leszynski inTegrate

Note:  This is Preview Edition software, designed to demonstrate a technology under development.  Leszynski Group makes no representations or warranties about its suitability for any particular task.  This toolkit may not have been tested on the Tablet PC hardware that you install it on.  This Preview Edition is not supported by Leszynski Group and we will not answer support questions about it.  Preview Edition software may have built-in expiration dates.

Click here to download, and select Save from the dialog.  Extract the files onto your PC and run the setup.  Leszynski inTegrate will be installed into Visual Studio and inTegrate documentation will be placed on your Windows Start menu.  Please read the Release Notes after setup has completed.
