Leszynski inDirect is a utility that we are developing that allows you to map simple on-screen pen gestures to shortcuts, and in the future to macros. We offer you this Preview Edition build in order to help you learn and leverage the power of gestures on the Tablet PC.
Note: This is a Preview Edition build only, designed to show proof of concept. Leszynski Group makes no representations or warranties about its suitability for any particular task. This utility may not have been tested on the Tablet PC hardware that you install it on. This Preview Edition is not supported by Leszynski Group and we will not answer support questions about it. Click here to download, and select Save from the dialog. Extract the files on your Tablet PC and run the setup. Leszynski inDirect will be placed on your Windows Start menu. Please read the Release Notes after setup has completed.
The current version available here for download is listed below; if the version number in your About dialog is lower than this, uninstall your current Leszynski inDirect, then download and install the release posted here:
Version: 1.0.22011.23220 Check back here regularly for updates and documentation.
When you start Leszynski inDirect, a star icon is placed in the Windows notification area. Tap on this icon to display the configuration dialog. In the dialog, select a gesture by tapping on the gesture graphic and picking a built-in gesture to configure. Then drag a shortcut from the Start menu into the command line text box, or enter a command line with the pen or keyboard. The gesture and the command line will become associated. Or, instead of a command line, you can drag a URL from the Address Bar in Internet Explorer into the Web site text box in the dialog to navigate to a Web site based on the associated gesture. Leszynski inDirect places a small (non-visible) hotspot in the lower left corner of your desktop, just above the Start menu. Move your pen to this area of the screen and the inDirect gesture panel displays. Draw a gesture to which you have associated a command line or Web site, and the command will be executed. Experiment and enjoy. Send feature requests or problem reports to Info at Leszynski dot Com (spam-inoculated — please convert this to a proper e-mail address). |
