What is Leszynski inClude?

Leszynski inClude is a toolkit developed by Leszynski Group that provides components and utilities to assist developers using Visual Studio 2005.

Leszynski inClude installs several development accelerators into Visual Studio 2005:

• Class libraries with useful helper functions

• Tools to accelerate code development

• Visual Studio components (user controls)

Contents

The current Preview Edition version (available below for download) contains an evaluation release of the Leszynski.inClude.DirectInput helper assembly.  This library can be referenced from your Windows Forms application to intercept input data from Human Interface Device (HID) devices connected to your computer.  The current version of DirectInput listens for commands coming from a Windows Media Center Edition-compliant remote control device and fires events that your application can listen for to receive remote control button clicks.

System Requirements

Leszynski inClude requires:

• Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 or Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005.

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (version 8.0) with Visual Basic, Visual C#, Managed C++, or any combination of these languages installed.

• Some components require the Microsoft Tablet PC Platform SDK Version 1.7 (get it here).

Note:  This is Preview Edition software, designed to demonstrate a technology under development.  Leszynski Group makes no representations or warranties about its suitability for any particular task.  This toolkit may not have been thoroughly tested.  This Preview Edition is not supported by Leszynski Group and we will not answer support questions about it.  Preview Edition software may have built-in expiration dates (although this release does not).
